Canada Goose uses proprietary blends of premium down which have been developed through 50 years of experience. Canada Goose uses three custom blends of down, where the blend is a percentage of down versus feathers: 750 fill power Canadian Hutterite white duck down (90/10 blend), 675 fill power Canadian white goose down (80/20 blend) and 625 fill power Canadian white duck down (80.20 blend). One MAJOR complaint: The top of the zipper (near my chin) was extremely sharp and has CUT ME under the chin several times. This seems like a serious safety hazard. I've never felt such a sharp zipper edge before. NOT COOL!!! I would have returned it but I didn't realize what was happening until I'd been wearing it for a while.

Back to the rest...this fleece keeps me so very warm. I live in the Pacific Northwest...the weather never gets very cold, but it's important to have good layering pieces and this works perfectly. NOTE: I am usually a large and I got a medium, works just fine for me.

This fleece zip up is perfect because it's not too bulky and allows for easy layering. In the winter I can use it under my coats, and in the spring I layer it under my windbreaker. Get it, you won't regret it.

I plan to buy more in the future, hopefully this zipper issue doesn't come up again. How terribly lacking in quality.

I like Columbia outer-wear, and bought this jacket to wear outside while it's raining or snowing (paired with a fleece/sweater underneath when temps are cooler). It's light weight, and makes for a nice wind breaker in warmer weather. If you're going to use an umbrella or quickly go in-out of the rain, the jacket will do. But I would not recommend it as an outer covering if you're going to be outside for a long time in even a slight drizzle. The product description says water "resistant" (not water-proof), and that is indeed the case. Just got finished shoveling my driveway while there was a light sleet-snow shower going on. Afterwards I found the jacket's interior material was wet (like a sweating type of wet), enough to moisten the fleece I wore underneath.

Technically, Columbia advertises their "Omni-Shield" products (which this jacket is) as only water resistant/repellant. In my opinion it's not repellant enough to be described as a true rain coat, as it is on Amazon. It's definitely not meant for direct use in bad weather (if you're thinking about pairing it with warmer wear underneath).

Columbia does have a line of jackets/coats branded as "Omni-Tech", which is advertised as water-proof (not resistant). That would have been a better choice for me.

Love love love it! The color is awesome! And there r two makeshift inside pockets. The left outside pocket is reversible, so u can fold up the entire coat in the pocket, then you zip it shut, there is even a little handle for hanging!
Took it to the BWCA last week and it kept me dry on our last day there when the rain didn't stop till 12pm.
My only issue is that it has special wash instructions, and cannot be washed with other items. Other than that, it exceeded my expectations! The cut of the jacket makes it feminine, unlike most jackets out there. And for the price, you will be satisfied with your purchase.
